Ginger and turmeric immuno-shot

Useful properties of turmeric.
I used turmeric root, but it is not easy to find, and the price for it is not so low. But you can also safely use turmeric powder, but make sure it is a quality, natural spice.

Turmeric powder also contains vitamins K, C, B, B2, B3, calcium, iodine, phosphorus, iron and other active elements that make turmeric one of the healthiest spices in the world. And that’s not all:
Turmeric is also often called a natural antibiotic for its anti-inflammatory properties. Turmeric can fight various inflammations and protect the body from viruses. It is also considered a natural antiseptic and antibacterial.
Regular intake of dishes with turmeric helps noticeably improve immunity
Turmeric reduces cravings for sweets and actively burns fat, so it is great for those who want to lose weight.
Also turmeric lowers harmful cholesterol levels in the blood.
Turmeric is a stimulant for the formation of new blood cells. Thanks to this there is a regular renewal of the blood.

Immune Shot of Ginger and Turmeric
And that’s not the whole list of useful properties of turmeric, which is very impressive!

Black pepper + turmeric = turmeric enhancement.
But all of these properties remain unavailable to us if turmeric is not used correctly. Turmeric (or rather its active ingredient curcumin) has a low bioavailability (this is the amount of the substance that reaches its site of action in the human body) due to the fact that it is quickly metabolized in the liver and intestines. And only a tiny portion of it reaches the bloodstream. Therefore, black pepper comes to our rescue, and the action of turmeric becomes much more potent. Pepper increases the concentration of turmeric in the blood, the degree of its absorption and bioavailability in humans.

But like any other product, and even though it’s super beneficial, there are contraindications:
know the measure! 50-60 ml of this drink a day is enough!
Pregnancy (increases uterine tone).
If you have a chronic illness, consult your doctor.
Allergic reactions or individual intolerance;
Stomach diseases (gastritis, ulcers);

How do I make an immune-boosting drink?
To make this drink, in addition to 120 grams of turmeric root, 140 grams of ginger, 2 large lemons and a pinch of pepper, you will need a blender, gauze and rubber gloves as turmeric stains your hands a lot. Be prepared that the gauze will also turn yellow. All we need to do is wash the turmeric and ginger, squeeze the juice from the lemons and grind all the ingredients in a blender. Then strain all this mass through gauze.

I pour the finished drink into small bottles of 50 – 60 ml. This is very convenient because you can always take it with you to work or for a walk. It comes out to a total of 300350 ml, which is enough for one person for a week. The drink should be stored in the refrigerator, and you can also freeze it and add frozen cubes of this drink to water or tea.

That’s it!!! I hope this post has answered all the questions you had, and if it still doesn’t, leave a comment and I’ll be sure to answer everyone.
